Kaiserslautern local association
The Kaiserslautern branch of the GDCh was founded on March 7, 1973.
The chairman regularly invites to the GDCh colloquia. As a rule, 4-5 lectures take place per semester. In these lectures, current research results are presented to a wide audience. Guests from outside the chemistry department are also very welcome. On this page we inform you about the lecture program of the current semester.
Of course there is a Young Chemists Forum (JCF) for the younger members of the Kaiserslautern chapter. You can find more information on the JCF homepage
The lectures usually take place on Tuesday at 17:00 c.t.. From 16:45 you have the opportunity to get to know the lecturer(s) personally in a coffee round.
On Tue, 10.12.2024 the election of the new GdCh chairman and his deputy took place. Prof. Dr. Maria Wächtler (University of Kiel) was succeeded by Prof. Dr. Jörg Fahrer (Food Chemistry and Toxicology) as the new chairman, Prof. Dr. Georg Manolikakes as his deputy.
