Courses offered by the Chemistry department in winter semester 2026/27
This page gives you an overview of the events taking place in winter semester 2026/27. Most of the events require pre-registration for planning purposes in the KIS-Office. The last registration day for this is 12.10.2026, unless another deadline is explicitly listed for the event below. The links for registration in the KIS Office can be found in the respective events (see info box "Events requiring registration"). In many cases, registration in the KIS Office is a prerequisite for gaining access to the corresponding OLAT course. All courses take place in "presence", unless another teaching format is explicitly listed.
The information is subject to change, please check again if necessary.
We wish you a good start to the winter semester 2026/27 and thank you for your cooperation!
Reaccredited degree programs as of WS 24/25
In the 2024–2025 winter semester, the reaccredited degree programs in Chemistry and Food Chemistry (both at the bachelor’s and master’s levels) began. This also applies to the Bachelor’s program in Chemistry with a focus on Business Studies and Economics, which was subsequently modified in light of these changes, as well as the Master’s program in Chemistry with a Focus on Economics.
Only students in their 6th semester of the Bachelor’s program (and higher) may still be studying—depending on the decision made in the winter semester of 2024/25—under the corresponding old study regulations; all other students (Bachelor’s and Master’s) are studying under the new, reaccredited study regulations. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact the academic advisors or the program manager.
Note for Master’s students following the “old” examination regulations regarding KIS:
- If modules or courses that you are required to take under the “old” examination regulations are missing from KIS, please contact the administrative office of the respective department or the responsible instructor. Please also note the instructions for students under the “old” examination regulations in some courses in the KIS.
