Welcome to the central didactics page for chemistry at the Department of Chemistry in Kaiserslautern. Here you will find interdisciplinary didactic teaching and learning research and practical didactic concepts. On this page you will find all information about our chemistry didactics courses (Module 3, Module 7, Module 13) as well as various cooperation projects of the working groups AG Hornung and AG Seibert. The Hornung working group is concerned with the planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching and learning processes for chemistry lessons. Research focuses on reflexive teaching-learning guidance and the integration of this into the professionalization process of prospective teachers, the development of digital teaching materials for heterogeneous learning groups and suitable teacher training courses.
The Seibert working group is primarily concerned with determining the conditions for successful self-regulated learning in chemistry. The teaching activities of the AG Seibert are primarily in the area of professionalization of (prospective) chemistry teachers.
