Election of the doctoral student representatives at the chemistry department
Election announcement for the elections of the representation of doctoral candidates at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau
(CHEMISTRY department)
The representation of doctoral candidates at RPTU consists of one doctoral candidate from each
department. Each member of the doctoral student representation has a deputy
who represents the member in case of absence.
The elections for the Department of Chemistry will take place during the general assembly of doctoral candidates
and doctoral students of the department on 01.07.2026 at 5 pm in room 52/207 at RPTU in
Kaiserslautern. Voting by proxy is not permitted
.

All doctoral candidates of the Department of Chemistry accepted in accordance with §34 paragraph 3 HochSchG
are eligible to vote and be elected.
One member and one deputy member of the
doctoral student representation at RPTU will be elected for the Department of Chemistry.
Anyone entitled to vote can submit nominations for the election to
in writing or verbally to the election committee of their department until the start of the election. Eligible voters can also nominate
themselves. A valid nomination is only made if the
nominee declares to the election committee of their department that they agree with their
nomination.
Only those who are entered in the electoral roll can vote and be elected. This can be viewed until
three days before the election in room 52/305 at the Chemistry Dean's Office, Neslihan
Erdem and Malika Mounassib (please register in advance by email
(dekanat-sekretariat@chem.rptu.de) to make an appointment). Doctoral candidates who consider the electoral roll to be
incorrect or incomplete may request a correction orally or in text form from the
presiding member of the election committee within the display period.
Those entitled to vote must identify themselves on request with a valid identity card, passport,
driving license, student or employee ID.
The election is conducted by secret ballot using officially produced ballot papers, which are provided in the
polling station. Please bring your own pen for casting your vote in writing.
