Topic identification
for the final thesis
Please first find out about our main research areas and our current calls for thesis topics in order to match your interests with ours. If you are interested in one of the topics advertised, please get in touch with the contact person listed and arrange an initial meeting.
You can also suggest your own topic for your Bachelor's or Master's thesis. Your topic can have an experimental orientation or a conceptual-theoretical orientation. If you would like to suggest your own topic, please consider the following questions in advance:
What is the practical and scientific relevance of the topic?
What is the research desideratum or why is it worthwhile to deal with the topic in terms of research?
In what wider context can it be placed?
How can information and data on the chosen topic be obtained?
What are the factors that you would like to investigate in your thesis?
On the basis of these initial considerations, you can arrange an appointment with us to discuss the suitability of your proposed topic for the preparation of a thesis in our department. To do so, please contact Mr. Seibert johann.seibert(at)rptu.de and Mr. Richter leon.richter(at)rptu.de (in the CC).
Various topics are already suggested that can serve as the basis for your thesis. The topics are in line with our research fields and cover a variety of areas, including language, learning strategies, assessment and experiments with microplastics.
