Contact points at the university

Dear students of the chemistry department,

As we all know, our studies can be a strain on the patience of some of you and cost you a few nerves. However, if you get stuck or need support, you are by no means alone. If you are looking for good advice or help from other students, you can contact us, the student council, at any time. Whether by email or in person in the room, we are happy to help you. We have also set up a separate contact form for this purpose in our chemistry student council online course.

It should also be mentioned here that questions relating to the lecture or subject matter should always be addressed to the lecturers themselves, as is also the case during or after the lecture. They will usually be able to help you in good conscience.

If you have more profound difficulties, especially concerning your mental health, there is a free psychological counseling center at the university that can provide you with professional support.

However, if you have other problems that involve the department, certain university bodies or similar, you can turn to our professorial liaison officers in particular. They will be happy to advise you and can support you with their expertise. Your concerns will be treated anonymously.

You are not alone!
